Buckwheat Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 organic brown egg
- 3 Tbsp melted butter
- 5 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 5 Tbsp buckwheat flour
- 2 Tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tsp white sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
- Whisk together milk, egg and butter. Separately mix the dry ingredients together.
- Add to the milk and egg mixture until just combined. Fold in some of your favorite fruit at this point.
- Cook in a teflon pan lightly rubbed with butter. Serve with fresh fruit and or syrup.
