Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels

Add a little heat to your weekend parties with just the right amount of spice in these fun and tasty bite-sized appetizers.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Mission Medium/Soft taco flour tortillas, cooked
  • 2 cups Oscar Mayer Buffalo Chicken Strips
  • 3 Tbsp Texas Pete Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • Harris Teeter salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp + 2 Tbsp Kraft Blue Cheese or Ranch Dressing
  • 5 Tbsp + 1 tsp fresh Harris Teeter Farmers Market celery, finely minced

Directions:

  1. Combine chicken and buffalo sauce together in a medium size mixing bowl and stir to coat. Set aside.
  2. Lay one cooked Mission Tortilla flat on a work surface. Spread 2 teaspoons of blue cheese or ranch dressing evenly over the entire tortilla. Evenly sprinkle 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of minced celery over the dressing.
  3. Spread ½ cup of the sauced chicken evenly over the entire tortilla. Begin at the bottom and fold forward. Repeat for remaining 3 tortillas. Slice into 8 equal slices and serve.

Hints:

  1. Adjust the level of spice to fit your family's taste by adding or subtracting a teaspoon at a time of the hot sauce.
  2. These pinwheels can easily be made a day in advance or the morning of your event and then sliced when ready.
