Goat Cheese & Honey Toasts
A simple recipe for a delicious appetizer. Enjoy with HandCraft Artisan California Chardonnay or Pinot Noir.
Ingredients:
- 1 (8 oz) La Brea French bread baguette
- 8 oz soft fresh goat cheese
- 1/4 cup Harris Teeter honey
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
- 1/2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped very fine
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut 1/4-inch diagonal slices from baguette. Spread goat cheese on each slice. Arrange in single layer on rimmed baking sheet. Bake until edges are slightly golden and cheese softens, about 10 minutes.
- While still hot from the oven, spinkle with walnuts, rosemary and then drizzle with honey. Serve warm.
